Insights from Real Experiences

I want you to know what has worked for others on their journey.

Everyone is unique, and that’s why support is tailored to suit you. The main focus here is to ensure you are building tools and strategies to learn to manage your ADHD and neurodivergence, not someone else’s. It can be a moving feast, and what you need is understanding to start where you are and build tools to support yourself.

Below is the feedback I have received.

Introduction to ADHD Talks and Workshops

This feedback has been gathered from several talks delivered at the Lossiemouth Community Hub. Parents, carers and several professionals came to listen and understand more about ADHD, where it fits in with them and how they can support the ones around them who have a different brain. The events have been particularly valued due to the limited availability of services addressing ADHD in the community.

Very informative and easy to understand

One-to-one coaching support

I deliver one-to-one coaching sessions to adults with ADHD. Predominantly, my work is with late-diagnosed people navigating their way through acquiring a diagnosis or who have been given a diagnosis and little else. People who have found the resources they once had are no longer working, and something needs to change. We work together to understand some of the causes and what can be put in place to create forward movement.

Here is some feedback from those I have worked with.

“I really appreciate the individual personal space to explore my challenges. I feel I am learning more as we go on about how my brain works.

Thank you. ” 09/12/2025

“My sessions with Vicky have been so useful to me and have really been a big help already in understanding myself and my condition.”

Access to Work Feedback

As well as private support, my clients often come to me using the Access to Work (ATW) support from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). There is more about ATW here (link). I have added further feedback below from clients using this fund.

“Reflecting on my A2W Coaching journey over the past 5 months, Vicky has played a huge part in the significant progress I’ve made in that time. Her ability to tease out the critical questions/talking points from what is often a brain-dump on my part, is invaluable. It has enabled me to take a more strategic view, as well as giving me space to celebrate my successes. Thank you!”

“I have really enjoyed my 1:1 sessions with Vicky. I have learnt so much about ADHD, my personality and how my brain works. Vicky has helped me and guided me in finding tools to support myself when things are difficult and how to stop things becoming difficult. I’ve felt listened to and supported, which has given me the confidence to ask for things I need at work and realise it’s okay to have a thousand sticky notes around my house to remind me to do things. My biggest takeaway from my sessions is “progress not perfection”, and it’s okay to have those rubbish days. I’ll be sad when my sessions finish.”

What’s your biggest takeaway?

Further testimonials from some of the same clients. Reflection is paramount; psychologically safe reflection is even more crucial to learning new pathways.

To put in the pause when feeling overwhelmed, hyper-focused, or spiralling.
