One to One coaching offers space for you to map out where you want to go in bite sized pieces. It is often difficult to know where to start. This initial session will be time for you to discuss why you would like coaching and what it might be able to help you with. Arrangements can be made for face to face sessions if needed, and geographically suitable otherwise the sessions take place online.
You will learn about ADHD, what it is and it may affect you in your day to day life. A plan can be made and strategies developed to help you make sense of your world pre or post diagnosis. ADHD is a lifelong condition, therefore daily management is key to controlling symptoms.

Testimonials

I joined the Vicky’s adult group coaching course in early 2021 after learning about the link between ADHD and hypermobility in 2019. I spent 2020 learning about ADHD but didn’t push a diagnosis. From joining online forums I was convinced I wouldn’t be referred for diagnosis and even if I was it would take years. Joining the group made me realise I wasn’t imagining it. I met people with similar stories. I learned more about how ADHD affects the brain, about dopamine and learned about new resources. Some of what Vicky taught us helped me to adapt new coping techniques and some of it helped me to understand how my brain works and the impact of ADHD. Joining the group gave me the push to speak to my GP again. It gave me the confidence but also the knowledge of how to present what I wanted to say in a way that would be listened. Within 9 weeks I had been diagnosed. Without Vicky I don’t think I would have had the courage to push for a diagnosis at that time and the impact for me has been life changing. I still struggle – some days more than others but now I understand my brain better and it’s a much better place than I was before. Before the group I couldn’t understand why I felt different to other people, why I acted different and now I can accept who I am.

Vicky has helped me in a time of need to wrap my head around neurodivergence and make an actionable plan of working on my goals. She is an incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable person who can support with understanding your diagnoses (even before it’s official). It was very nice to be part of a group of people going through the same process, helped me feel like I wasn’t alone! And now it seems like everywhere I go there’s other neurodivergent people 🙂 Seems like we’re a tribe. Vicky is passionate about learning more and is creative in her approach making it super engaging and interesting. I am very grateful for the one to ones as they helped me feel like I can do this and I took the leap to start my business properly which is still going strong. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Vicky!
